I recently had the joy of photographing one such family at the beach, a family that is so close to my heart. G and her boys bring me so much joy and love and happiness and are very special to me, because G was our birth photographer and doula when my son was born. Being a former birth photographer myself, I know how deeply important those memories are, and it was such a blessing to be asked to capture her again this time.
It also wasn’t their first time stepping in front of my camera; they’ve returned a few times now, and each session has been more heartwarming than the last. It’s families like these that remind me why I love being a Cardiff family photographer — not just that we’re near some of the world’s best beaches but also having the pleasure of watching their bonds grow stronger and capturing those precious moments is a gift I’ll never take for granted.
